4. New York is lucky!
I'm a big Kurt Warner fan and hated to see him leave us here. He brought the Rams from a mess to a Super Bowl Championship in such spectacular fashion and is a genuine nice guy.

6. His meddling wife.
She called a St. Louis talk radio show to defend her man once. Plus, she makes statements to the press about Kurt's career. Things that he should say himself, or through his agent.

10. In theory, nothing.
But, in practice, in the macho NFL world, that kind of thing can cause lock-room issues. It's all macho BS, but there's a negative stigma to having wives publicly making statements like she was making. The locker-room mentality is that, "if he can't stand up for himself, and his wife has to speak for him, then can we trust him under pressure?" Like I said, macho bullshit, but when you are the "leader of the team" that stuff matters.

13. Totally agreed. She went beyond meddling wife to almost looking
at it as her career. I don't find the statements sexist at all. :hi:

9. Most overrated QB in history.
This is the guy who put the lie to the NFL's QB ratings system, nevermind those two ridiculous MVPs.

Damn. I'm actually going to have to root for the Cowboys when they play the Giants this year. Wow!

12. I agree.
Warner was a total flash in the pan.

His 2-3 year run, when the Rams went to the Super Bowl twice, was amazing. He was untouchable during that time...looked like he would be one of the all-time greats.

But then he just fell back to earth and sucked again.

To the Giants fans out there: I hope he can at least impart some knowledge to Manning, because he sure as shit can't play anymore.
