2. I watced the Tour finish one year from the rooftop of the Musee

D'orsay. It was one of the coolest sporting event moments I ever had. I also saw several legs of the tour in the mountains. Those are some amazing athletes. It is a freak of nature to watch those guys blow past you on a bike while climbing a mountain.

3. Le Tour de France and the Internet
Not too many years ago it was very hard to follow the Tour de France. Now we can listen online and see an up-to-the-minute graphic representation of each stage's progress.

Isn't the Internet great? :)

since the USPS dropped the sponsorship, which I thought was pretty crappy on their part
