I am in a room. I have little sense of my self, and it is fairly dark.
There is a powerful presence in the room, quite human-like, and there are several forms. They talk to me about the state of the world, and that it has become just about time for them to shut things down. I get a deja-vu and remember a dream I had 37 years ago that had scared the heck out of me at the time. I asked them if that was them way back then. Yes, they say, that was us. I am getting pretty scared and I fight to "wake up". I open my eyes and see a panel of light but don't know what it is. I continue to struggle to wake up and finally see the light to be the window in my bedroom. I am breathing hard now and still very scared. I roll onto my back and stare at the ceiling for a long time until I finally fall back asleep.

1. Sleep Paralysis and its Hallucinations
I get it a lot.

They are terrifying episodes, creepy as hell, and mimic waking consciousness.

2. I get those. Usually several episodes a month, sometimes 3 or 4 a night
I never knew what they were called though. Maybe I should go see a sleep therapist or something. They definately aren't the same as my nightmares when I was a kid. I usually feel some sort of presence holding me down, I feel like I'm having a seizure, and then I either go with the flow, or try to slam my head into the wall in real life to wake myself up. Crude, but effective.
