Is ear wax actually wax?

8. Speaking of ear wax...

I had a friend who told me that once, many years ago when he was dusting above some cabinets in his kitchen, a roach fell in his ear. He couldn't get it out, so he went to a doctor who pulled it out bit by bit. Well, many years later, he came down with a terrific earache. He again went to a doctor, who found a body part of a roach encased in his earwax, causing an abcess. :)

The moral of the story is that if a roach crawls in your ear, make sure you get it ALL out. :evilgrin:
