I think we should have a DU camping trip
I've met enough of you folks here at DU and I can say one thing really really proudly - I think spending a weekend camping with DUers would be a real hoot!!!

Sitting around the campfire in the heart of nature with other progressive thinkers, how could it get any better than that?

2. I grew up out in the country...
and as far as I'm concerned...roughing it is when the air conditioning is out at the hotel. :)

in a vacant block next door to a five star hotel?

I need my twice a day shower, a flushing toilet, cable and room service.

I don't think I can get all that out in the woods.

29. watch out for quarter bounce
years ago a colleague actually swallowed the quarter and ended up in the hospital for many days before they could get it out. A cautionary tale.

20. Renting cabins at Fossil Rim Wildlife Park
It would be too expensive, but it sure would be nice! Meridian State Park is pretty nice - I was a park ranger there right after I graduated from Tarleton State.
