by Doris Kearns Goodwin (about FDR), also McCullough's Truman, like you said. Both great reads.

"A Hero For Our Time" by Ralph G. Martin
These are excellent biographies of President Kennedy. If I have a few hours alone and can't think of what to do, I often sit down with one of these excellent books and wonder what it would be like to have an inspirational leader in America.
