2. Onmyoji (Traditional Japanese fantasy story)
also recently saw and loved:

Universal Dracula Boxed set featuring 1931 Dracula with original score, new score by Philip Glass and Kronos Quartet, Spanish Dracula (same film with a few different scenes and all Spanish dialogue {subbed}) Son of Dracula, Daughter of Dracula, and a host of short documentaries. If you like Golden Age horror, this DVD is the SHIT man.

17. A good comedy.....
ntohing too taxing, very fun to watch. I know you're a young guy, but it's set in the mid 70's ish and is about a bunch of kids about to graduate and their last day of high school.

21. Dazed and Confused is possibly one of the 10 worst movies of all time
Just my opinion, of course, but it stunk on ice.

9. You might want to wait on Goodfellas
There's a 2-disc special edition scheduled to come out on August 17. It should be a big improvement over the craptacular, outdated "flipper" (2 sided) edition currently out there.

Another vote for The Big Lebowski, but I also recommend "The Last Supper"

It's a political movie (Comedy)

15. Do you have 'Spinal Tap'?
Edited on Sat Jun-05-04 03:34 PM by Twillig
The parody "rocumentary" of the fading english rockers/metalband?

It's a great DVD. You can watch the non-commented film, then turn on the comments and watch it again. Guest, McKean, and Shearer all are in character (Tufnel, St.Hubbins, and Smalls) for the comments. It's like a whole new movie. :)

16. Get a comedy or two.
I recently bought "Happy, Texas" and "Go" and have enjoyed these comedies every time I've watched them. Steve Zahn is amazing.

Be careful with too much heavy-themed movies, regardless how great they may be; everyone needs a good laugh.

"Jackie Brown" is Tarantino's best in my opinion.
