I'm a 50 year old guy and I've gotten hooked on Joan of Arcadia |
|
I started watching this show a few weeks ago, and I've gotten hooked.
I haven't been hooked on a prime-time TeeVee show since Seinfeld. Could this be my new "must-see TV?"
Feels kinda odd, because it's a show about high-school kids. But it's such a cool show, and the characters are so interesting. And a good spirit to it.
I guess it's okay as long as I don't start watching 7th Heaven.

You're not alone Armstead.
It's a very well-written show. Everybody's three-dimensional; things aren't wrapped up neatly and solved with a bow around it in 60 minutes.

6. Where I come from, we call it TV |

TV, insanity...the same thing.
But TV's version of "reality" is even crazier.

10. The difference is that she thinks she might be insane because of that |
|
She doesn't want them showing up but they keep butting in so that she can't live life the way she wants.

Maybe that's part of the show's appeal for me. Heh-heh.

on Joan of Arcadia. That show is just kinda...ick to me. Joan is so dumb and conventional. Does she ever just tell the god-person she's not going to do whatever?

13. Would you say "No" to God? |

If God told me to jump, I'd say "How high?"
Of course, first I'd want to make sure that's who it really was. I wouldn't take orders from an imposter.
