The adrenaline was flowing for me too. I don't think I could ever take being involved with horse racing, whether as an owner or a better.

But he's a beautiful, intelligent animal. And the fact that he came back from that horrible injury to even run again, much less win the Derby and the Preakness is something to behold.
The other horses challenged him the entire race and Birdstone was there to take advantage. But he still only caught him in the last couple of furlongs.
Go on with your bad self Smarty. Retire to a nice farm, sire a bunch of colts and live a full life. You've earned it!
