Beer nicknames: Goebel - The Queen of Beers

Only we pronounced it zh-oh-bell... the queen of beers. At $1.69 a six you couldn't go wrong - back in college.

Also remember Goebel being a major radio sponsor of the Detroit Tigers. They had an absolutely horrendous jingle involving "Brewster, the Goebel Rooster." That's him on the can.
