How did you guys feel about the show Family Ties?
Just asking because it was a funny show, I thought and Alex (Michael J. Fox) was funny even though he played a conservative.

3. Tina Yothers was the Rick Astley of acting.
Great, memorable, but woefully unappreciated in her time.

4. I loved the show
One of my favorite ones. Always seemed really well done to me. Though I was but a young'un at the time, I knew most TV shows were not very well done (though I still watched way too many of them), but Family Ties, and the first four or five seasons of "Facts of Life" and that show that Lisa Bonet started was also really good for quite a while.

But Family Ties - will always hold a special place in my heart. Loved the cast, thought the writing was really good, they handled some tough topics, and it was also hilarious. My kind of humor.

6. I loved it!!! My ex-husband was a carbon copy of alex!
So, I loved the parody of him, and he thought it was complimentary. we could both enjoy the portrayal!LOL

I loved Meredith Baxter, even as queen of made-for-Lifetime movies.

10. Did you know?
Family Ties was Reagan's favorite show. I think he missed something...

Interestingly enough, when I walked in my kitchen tonight to announce Reagan's death, somebody said I sounded like Alex P. Keaton! Which is ironic, being a liberal and all...

11. I knew.
Isn't it ironic that Michael J. Fox voted for Al Gore and is backing John Kerry?
