"The one that got away thread"
Edited on Sun Jun-06-04 01:31 AM by HEyHEY
I posted this story on another thread...but I figure it's a good topic for a Saturday night.

Stephanie....my last night in New Bruswick. We....did our thing, then at 8:00 am we woke up in each other's arms and I took my plane back to Vancouver. ( Ah the French girl teaching the English boy all he needs to know about intamicy, not the sexual kind...it was perfect, and a typical Canadian story.
She cried as I left, I wanted to cry for her too. But I just couldn't get the tears going. Hope she didn't think it's because I didn't feel for her.

Man if I didn't have to leave..what would have been?

But that was a nice way to wake up.

I've posted about the mexican, which was maybe more of a lust thing. But Stephanie..the French girl from Tracadie. Had I not left, I'd probably be married now.
She's actually studying medicine now...wants to be a brain surgeon (I'm too drunk to spell neurologist.)

Great...now I'm drunk, sentimental, and emotional. Look what you did!

1. sorry, hon!LOL!
My "one that got away," if that refers to never knowing what could have been... would be Ruben from New Orleans... one incredible weekend... we tried to make arrangements to visit each other, but our schedules didn't work out. But, he will always be one of my best memories.

6. "post divorce, renewed self-esteem man" - Love it!
Been there, done that! You put that so well. Would make a great chapter title, but too hot to sustain a relationship for more than a year ;)

3. There is a reason the short love affairs ones seem so great.
They are SHORT.
