Depressing!
I am watching VH1 Classic and they are playing grunge-era hits like Jeremy by Pearl Jam, Them Bones by Alice in Chains, etc. Since when are the early 90s considered classic?

But I woke up the other day and discovered I was 35. It's really all too much to take sometimes. :D

3. It's considered "classic" because anyone over 30
is considered old school these days.

7. I'm with you ellie ...
Just be truly concerned once you start hearing 90's music on the classic oldies radio stations. Then officially fill out that form for the free cheese ...

8. One of my son's friends wanted me to burn a song to a disk for him ...
He said it was kind of an oldie ....

It was "Iris" by the Goo Goo Dolls. Aaaaaargh!

9. You think that's depressing?
Edited on Sun Jun-06-04 11:01 AM by Bertha Venation
The first time I heard "Crocodile Rock" on K-Earth 101 -- the Oldies Station in L.A. (not classic rock) -- I nearly had to pull off the road. I was so stunned that I couldn't drive.

A song I grew up with is on the oldies station?!

I'm over it now, but that was a shock.
