An apology for my actions yesterday.
I apologize for being such an asshole about Reagan's death yesterday. I shouldn't be glad that he died. He was a human being and I should at least respect him for that. I was an insensitive asshole. I should've been more civil and mature about it.

Again, I'm sorry. :(

Thanks for reading this. I needed to get it off my chest.

5. Emotions Ran High Yesterday
Note that the vitriol has dwindled to a trickle today. Personally, I feel that yesterday's news of Reagan's demise served as a cathartic release; I don't feel a need to vent today.

6. Don't apologize.
There are many others here with your same feelings. I cannot say that I have any feelings one way or another as to his death and the man was already dead years ago because of his disease. I did not like him anymore than I like the idiot now in office.

7. Yeah...but I shouldn't have been glad that he died.
He was a fellow human being and he deserved a little more respect because of that.

I'm not glad that the man died. I'm just glad his policies and his way of running the country are dead.

8. Thanks for the apology.
I thought that things were getting a little rough last night. Thanks for recognizing that though we had many differences with him, that he was a human being. That awareness is what separates us from them. Your willingness to say that you made a mistake is far more than Bush has done. I don't miss Reagan or his policies, but the man suffered enough. Alzheimer's is a nasty disease and all the good care that he got could not erase the horror of losing his mind. Let's just let him rest and let the universe deal with him.
You just "had a moment", no big deal. Now it's time to put all that anger to work on cleaning up the mess we have made of this planet.

9. We all make mistakes.
And there are things that we all wish that we could take back. You're human. And a great one at that. Don't worry about it, just don't let it happen again! :D
