I was over at my friend's friend's house. I guess he is my friend now, he is pretty cool. Well I said to my friend "Reagan died today"
"He was alive?"

"Yeah"

"I though all former Presidents were dead, is Eisenhower still alive?"

I shake my head I said

"No, he was like 50 years old in the 40's(I'm not really sure)"

He says "Oh, he is the oldest President that I know... Actually Ben Franklin might be"

I said "What about George Washington"

Then he says "Ooooooh yeah he was the first President wasn't he?"

lol I don't know, most of my friend's are non political so I guess it shouldn't surprise me he didn't know this stuff. I never did mention that Ben Franklin was never President.

Getting my GED, then the car, then college classes. Rent there is pretty nice compared to a lot of places. I'm just not in the situation financially to move right now.

I applied for an age waiver form a week and a half ago and it hasn't come in yet. So I have to wait on that before I take the pretest. (not trying to sound arrogant in the least) but I don't think I'll have a problem with the test. Before I just gave up, I was a pretty good student.

The woman told me I did so well that I could take the test and probaly pass it. That's not arrogance, that's confidence imo. There is a difference. Being confident is alot more effective then being negative with yourself. I know you will do well :hug: it's pretty easy. I was a pretty good student before I gave up as well, Most Outstanding Math Student in the 5th grade! :D

Are you signed up to take the test yet? It's best to take asap before all that info your head fades away. I don't know if it's regionally different but it was pretty easy, 3 of the tests were basically reading comprehension. The Science and Social Studies section had a paragraph that taught you a little and then you answer questions based on the info that was said. For me, it was just 8 dollars for 5 tests that I could take seperately anytime I wanted for a period of 8 months.

After the Superbowl, my cousin was talking to a co-worker who told her that her daughter didn't know where New England was (turns out a lot of people don't know that). She thought they were some new people from England who came over to play football.
