Get a big glass of it and drink it slowly. It should mitigate some of your indigestion. How awful when you can't get away. When you can, get some Pepcid tablets. It's powerful stuff. Pricey. But it works immediately.
Good luck!
On edit: I don't agree with drinking carbonated beverages. They can even cause indigestion. So, if you've got that burning feeling, stay away from them. And if your burning persists, you really need to get away and find something. You can burn your esophagus.

How's it going? Is the burning subsiding a little? Try walking around a bit, too. That may cause the stomach acid to stay down instead of moving upward.

32. I can't really tell a difference. |

It's not really a constant thing, just in different spurts then it hurts like hell. I think the water and sprite (yes, I'm drinking both at the same time) might help. Not sure. Thank you again for taking the time to respond, I reallllly appreciate it!

Hubby and I get it, too, and it's a real nasty deal. The water should water down the acids. Chewing gum also stimulates saliva to water down the acids. If it refuses to go away, my last encouragment would be to call your boss or supervisor, explain what's up and get thee to a grocery or drug store!
Nite and good luck!

|
Do NOT drink milk. A little soda pop may help - drink very slowly and not too much - if from food both will help, Best is tums or equivilent - the cheap stuff from discount stores are fine - and they have calcium.
