Fiction is fine, the more creative the better, as long as it's not toooo slanderous :D

1. Or, as my sister always says...
"But enough about me. What do YOU think of my dress?" :D

2. After seeing DTH's thread in GD, it occurred to me that I don't think I've
ever posted a thread on DU that was just about me and only me, so I thought I may as well post one kinda like that, though this one isn't, really, come to think of it, because it's about other DUers caricatures of me. That's close enough for jazz, though ;-)

Nice run-on sentence I wrote in that previous paragraph, come to think of it. Is that a recurring characteristic of my posts here, or an exception?

3. My impression...
...considering that our ships have mostly passed in the night over these two-plus years, is that it's the exception more than the rule.

You're right, though: You don't normally focus on yourself. When I think "Wonk," I think, "Oh, good, he's found something funny and new and possibly outrageous, and definitely something I haven't seen elsewhere!" And then I read. And you never fail to amuse and/or surprise.

Which, truth told, makes it extremely difficult (at least for those of us not in your inner circle) to come up with anything, fictional or not, about The Legendary Wonk.

I do know your posts are always worth the click. But I will admit to great curiosity about the Wonk behind the Wonk.

What is the one thing you would want everyone on DU (and thus, the Weird World Web) to know about you that you haven't yet said?

G'head -- I won't tell anybody!

6.  Tongue-tied and twisted, just an earthbound misfit, I.
Honesty is the best policy, but insanity is a better defense. :D

Hey, I have an idea! Let's all go spray paint some cars in Singapore.

7. And sidestepping a direct question...
...is the safest way out, dear Wonk. ;)

Re Singapore: Are you nuts?! If I wanted to be caned, I would have suggested the idea to my better half by now. :D

5. Actually, it's a beagle heart
and it's most certainly mine. Buddy has clearly adopted me as his new master, and won't let me forget it :D (He has me well trained already)
