Anyone know of a good place for free websites?

I use Angelfire right now for my website and they are getting out of control with their banners and pop-ups. There are just too many.

Anyone know of a good free place I can have a website without as much noise as Angelfire?

4. blogspot is great for beginners...

I just started blogging a couple of weeks ago.

I chose a good template and proceeded to change the code to suit my needs. A companion site called hello allows me to upload pics and graphics, but I have to erase some code to get rid of the obligatory link to hello's site.

I'm already feeling limited by my inability to post multiple pics, insert gifs (will only take jpgs), and otherwise juice up my site.
