Reagan Gets to Screw us one more time
I just got the following email from my supervisor. I work for a government agency located in downtown Washington, D.C., many of the employees work onsite. This just reminds me of the many things that were initiated to screw the Government contractor under the Reagan Administration.

Folks,

I know you would like some guidance as to how we are to treat Friday. The below message is all that I have as of now. I am waiting to hear whether has received guidance from the contrating officer.

There is no guarnatee the contracting officer will permit us to make up the hours by working additional hours. However, it might be part of your planning.

Only the Contracting Officer can authorize that the contract will pay for Friday, not your Technical Representatives. Please mention to your employees that if they do not want to use leave on Friday, they might want to begin making up those hours.

VERY IMPORTANT -- Please also let them know there's always a chance the CO may not allow us to make up the hours.

I'll try and get an answer back to each of you as quickly as possible.
