Republicans were left disappointed when 3 days after the death of Ronald Reagan he failed to rise from the dead. This was such a shock to many that they then began to question the existence of God. By noon the crowd had dissipated, though a few stragglers stayed to midafternoon.

It was at this time that the first of the Democrats arrived. Dirty looks were exchanged as the last of the Republicans left. Slowly a crowd gathered. Shortly before the sun set, satchels and bags were set down and the crowd prepared themselves. They stayed there, alert till dawn. To the joy of many, Reagan failed to rise from the dead. The Garlic, Holy Water, Stakes and Crucifixes were returned to their bags and with renewed faith in God, the Democrats departed.
