A little ray of liberal sunshine at a Houston B&N... |
|
Edited on Thu Jun-10-04 11:20 AM by Richardo
Was working a my BushCo® mandated second job last night and came across a copy of Hillary's "Living History" placed in front of a pro-Bush book on the shelves.
Now this sort of customer behavior is very common in bookstores, but here in the 9th Circle we usually see the pro-Bush books placed in front of the liberal stuff, not vice-versa.
I smiled to myself, silently toasted :toast: the mystery liberal customer, and reluctantly moved the books back to their proper spots.
Sweet!

...5303, to be exact. Come by some time, Lisa - you'll always find a liberal book on the Staff Rec shelves (from "Rich") at 20% off. ;) Right now: "Salam Pax: The Clandestine Diary of an Ordinary Iraqi" http://search.barnesandnoble.com/booksearch/isbnInquiry.asp?userid=mHu1JdP9zH&isbn=0802140440&itm=1

I've got to start making decisions about when I'm heading down Saturday.
Of course, I'll have to consult my co-pilot, VelmaD...

Did you buy him some crayons to go with it, or will he have to supply his own?

But I will be at the State Convention. Are you going to be there? Want a DU name tag with your handle? How about you David?

19. I'm notorious for doing that at the local bookstores in Wilmington |
|
Except for my local independent bookstore. I know the owners and I wouldn't do that to them. We joke about it though and they didn't mind that I put Living History in front of that crap written by toe-sucking Dick Morris
