Are DUers unfairly besmirching 'tripe'?

Everyone says 'this is tripe' when they encounter something they find violently against their taste and generally unappetizing in a post, but is that really reflecting the reality of this meat product?

I've always really dug yaks and the cultures that raise them
for some reason, and I mentioned this to ZombyWoof once,
and well the rest is history. :-)

The Yak clique is very non-exclusive . . . "If you're a friend of
a Yak, you're a friend of mine" !!! :P
