My cat pictures part one

I got one of those photobucket accounts! So what better use of my time and resources than to post pictures of my cats?
This is Felix, he is much beloved by all and is one of a kind...I got him as a stray in 1990, he was about 6 months old and in terrible shape, worms, earmites...He's had a good life ever since, though.He's 14 now, been on a diet for the last 4 years, hope he'll live another 14! He can't jump like he used to, but is still good at catching mice and snakes! (Brought 2 in the house so far this spring, still alive!) He weighs about 13 lbs. and is a little slimmer than in these pics.








Here is my younger (about 7) cat Gomez, I have to scan more pics of him. (More on him later!) He is completely black and is an even better mouser than Felix. I rescued him when he was 6 weeks old, he could stand up on my outstretched palm! He's huge!... weighs about 20 lbs. now...about 22" long!

This was my cat Lucifer (called Luci). He was 17 and I did finally lose him two years ago. I still miss him. As you can see, he was a very special cat.

I have Lily and Pad Thai now but still miss Lucifer and Shadow.

6. definitely a resemblance there...

same color and markings, although fur a little shorter. Sorrows for losing Luci, I know Felix is getting up there and I have to think of that day coming...I still miss my first cat who passed on about 11 years ago, from leukemia.

4. Felix looks exactly like my Nigel.

Rather, what Nigel will look like in ten years :) The face, the expressions he makes, the coloring, all the same.

9. Good-lookin' dudes, countfloyd! Check out my boy Dobbs!!!

This photo is in the DU Pets Gallery, but I'm shamelessly doing the "proud papa" thing of passing his snapshot all around.

Dobbs is extra-special in that he's an amputee -- a "tripod" -- he's missing his left hind leg (from a trap or animal bite received as a kitten). I adopted him nearly four years ago, and he's been such a gift -- very comical, plays in water all over the house, and purrs like a caterpillar tractor.
