Who else loves Vidalia onions? |
|
Saw them in the grocery store for the first time this season, so I picked up 5 pounds without hesitation.
First up is fajitas with extra onions. Tomorrow it's a huge batch of French Onion soup. This weekend I'll make heaps and heaps of Fried onion rings. Mmmmmm Vidalias...
I could probably eat a Vidalia a day for the rest of my life. They're that good!

I get them from Bland Farms by mail every year. I'm currently eating my way through a 10 pound box.
Excellent in stir fry. You can cut up largish hunks and cook them until they're warm but still crisp because they're mild enough to eat that way.
