anybody here use an online movie rental company to rent movies by mail. I'm tired of the lame choices at the local big chains.

1. netflix through www.shoptodropbush.com |

has a reasonable selection, and if you get it through www.shoptodropbush.com we get a small commission, which is donated to the Kerry campaign.
Their selection is good, but not great - so I'd really spend an hour or two browsing through their selections before signing up with them.

use Netflix and love it. And no late fees ! There is no charge to mail them back, because you enclose them in the same envelope they send them to you in. Takes 2-3 days to receive them in the mail and normally when you mail them back they have them the next day. It's great...and not much more than one usually spends a month renting movies.

3. Yes, we have been using one for several months and love it. |

Live in a very small community about 12 miles past the middle of no where. The movies available to rent are limited and boring.
The online service is great. They even did a tracking test to see how fast the turnaround was and decided to go with a different routing for the mail. Works great, fast, love the site for browsing and listing what we want. They have all sorts of stuff, classics, new releases, TV programs (oooooo, BBC stuff too). And it turns out to be a lot cheaper than renting at the grocery store in town or ordering the pay-per-view on satilite TV.
They email when a returned movie arrives to them and when they send a new one to us. It is really a very handy service.(Netflix)

I have used Netflix for about two years now and have had only a couple of minor problems which were easily resolved. Turnaround from return to getting a new movie is about five to six days. I have never wanted a movie that wasn't available. Short wait on some new releases is really short. I highly recommend this service. I hate to use Blockbuster where I went before. Late charges, movies not in stock, late charges and too many lengths of rental, and did I mention late charges?

Why? Because after you sign up and decide what you want, they ship it PRONTO. The best part is that they include a return envelope (prepaid) and after you watch the DVD, you just put it in the envelope and send. It's great! Very happy with it.

6. netflix-I like indy movies |

And love the selection available for me to plow through in rapid sucession! It takes about 1-2 days for me to get a new movie after I've sent one back...Not bad at all. (Which reminds me- time to send that last batch back!) Personally, I find that if I haven't watched a movie within one- to- two weeks of receiving it, I should just return it... I can get it again later if I really want to see it.... However, there are other things in my queue that I probably would like to see now.

I live in a very small town. The selection at the local movie rental places is extremely limited. Netflix has practically everything: foreign, independent, gay-themed, etc., that the local stores won't carry. I highly recommend it. Fast, efficient service, too.

Best selection & quickest ship times. In FL they receive my returns the next day and send out my next selection that same day. I can effectively receive a new movie every other day. Great recommendation process also. You simply rate movies you've seen, and they then recommend movies based on your ratings.

I got a free trial subscription with a DVD player I bought my mother for Christmas. She liked it so much, she's continued with it, and seeing how much she likes it, I've started using it too.
If you put just a little planning into it, you'll always have a good movie around to watch on your days when you have time. Their service is excellent, and the selection is awesome.
