Movie Hopping... anybody do it?
I did it for the first time today. Had to say it was alot easier than I figured it would be (I thought Cinemark would have security cameras). I paid 11 dollars for me and the lady to see "Saved", then we hopped on over to see "Shrek 2", after that I was having a huge nic fit so I stopped for some covert nicotine pleasure in the bathroom before hopping over to "The Stepford Wives."

My verdict: Go see "Saved", rent "Shrek 2" and watch "The Stepford Wives" when you see it on HBO.

1. I want to see "Saved."
So it's definitely worth it, then?

5. It's better than Van Helsing or Mean Girls, imo
It end on a cliche but the parody of fundamentalistt is spot on. Go see it!

2. I don't think
you should wait on Shrek 2. I thought it was the funniest I have seen this year.

I want to see Saved, but somehow I doubt a movie that satirizes the Baptist Church will get a lot of play in Ok.

6. Shrek 2 just moved way too slow
It took WAY too long for the laughs to set in (and I noticed the children in the theatre laughing along with me) and I found the overall plot inferior the the first movie. The first movie was superb, but the hype for this one was insane and I expected much more.

It was better than "The Stepford Wives", howeer. Chris Walken couldn't even save that movie. Better Midler (sp?) was good, however.

3. no
i manage a theater, and i have called the police to arrest people for it. Theater hopping is stealing, just like shop lifting is. I know prices are ridiculous, but its because hollywood pays people like the gropenfuher 130 million dollars to stand infront of a camera, we need to stay in business and pay our employees more than minimum wage

7. Seriously....I love you MOOF
I was so sick of paying 8 bucks to pay for one SHITTY (THUS FAR) SUMMER MOVIE and overpriced refreshments at CINEMARK (major corp).

I was just like... you know what, fuck Cinemark, overcharge me for generally shitty movies then make me watch 15 minutes of commercials before even th PREVIEW commercials.

Yea, fuck the movie industry at this point. I felt like paying money to see Saved, but not Shrek 2 or The Stepford Wives. I think Saved deserved my money.

I'll prolly jump 2 or 3 movies after I see Fahrenheit 9/11 and The Hunting of the President. I'll give my money to movies I want to see and feel are worthy.

The thing that broke me to movie hopping was Van Helsing and Mean Girls. I gave those assholes good money to see overpriced bad shit. And I bought thier fice dollar nachoes. I earned my money back yesterday.

8. I don't even go to the movies anymore
I find the commercials you have to sit through intensely aggravating.

9. That was the point where I told myself
that I shouldn't have to pay so much for this shit. To pay to spend over 15 minutes as a captive audience to Fanta commericals? FUCK TRAT?

And the preponderance of movies nowadays blow. If cinemark isn't going to stop me from hopping aroung thier theatre, that is thier problem. I'm going to do it everytime I got there from now one. Consider it a symbol of my discontent, regarding the rise of movie prices coinciding with the 30 minutes of commercials before EVEN THE FUCKING TRAILERS!
