Poll question: Computer security poll |
I use the works - resident AV (KAV), backup AV (NOD32,) router, software firewall (ZoneAlarm Pro), anti-Trojan (BOClean,) anti-spyware (Ad-aware, Spybot S&D, SpywareBlaster), registry protection (RegProt from DiamondCS.) It may be paranoid with my surfing habits, but you can never be too safe IMO. So how fully layered are you?

1. I use Sygate Personal Firewall.......... |
AVG anti-virus and Ad-Aware and Spybot. Plus I am using Mozilla Firefox and Thundebird, so no pop-ups or nasty spam-a-rooni. I have only gotten one virus in my current PC's history (knock on silicon). So maybe you can say I'm double-wrapped??
However, I wish I could find a free-ware program that hunts down and eradicates errant or alien .dll's.

2. As I remember, Sygate free offers .dll protection |
It alerts you when a new .dll has been loaded. It's near the bottom of your security options. :hi:
