My funny Gay Pride parade story (San Francisco)
Actually I have a couple of funny incidents... The first one was peeing in a bathroom in a Restaraunt on the corner Castro and Market street just before the Parade started. On both sides of me were two er transvestites peeing right along with me... I said to myself "Daddy if you could see me now" :D

My good buddy, Ron Marvin (R.I.P) was a member of the Gay Rodeo Association and he asked me to be a rope bearer for the parade... I held a rope with a bunch of other folks too prety much keep the crowd from getting trampled on by the horses. I did this for a couple of years and always had a blast doing it.

Well anyway, one year we were marching down Market, and a little Toyota was coming down a side street and turned right into the parade route right behind our group. It was a family of Japanese tourists who had gotten lost... Mom, Dad, Kids.. one big family. Anyway..they were stuck.. they had to drive behind us the last mile or so until they could get out. The look on thier face was priceless.

Anyway...it was truly one of the funniest things I'll remember from my days of proudly marching in the SF Gay Freedom parades.

BTW: I oved the Dykes on Bikes. They were cool!

3. I loved when...
KFOG had Sir Ian McKellen on when he was the Grand Emcee a year or so ago.

they asked him what his favorite song was, and he instantly replied, "Well God Save the Queen" of course.

I love KFOG, and love Dave Morey. Listen every chance I get. Since radio here SUCKS!
