1. Love the game....................
Been playing P-n-P D&D since I was 12-13 years (36 now). I have "Shadows of Undrentide", have yet to purchase "Hordes."

2. Hordes is definately worth it.
Epic levels, new prestige classes. AND a kickass adventure. I've played Hordes with 5 classes, trying to think what other ones to try.

Like you, P-n-P D&D since 11, now 34. Not only had the red and blue sets, I had the original blue/white book. The FIRST first edition.

3. Never had the original set.................
but I still have all my old 1st ed. AD&D books that I got back in '82. I have long ago gotten over the cries of GEEK! when I announce I still play D&D.

Have you tried any NWN online? I have tried to join many games, but tend to end up being on the wrong side of the map or continent in relation to where all the action is.

Did you play "Temple of Elemental Evil" by Troika? It was cool, but just a little too "Baldur's Gate" for me.

5. Never cared about the "geek" thing.
I am a geek! :)

I haven't tried any online stuff. I've never been good with fast responses on the pc, so I know I'll just get my ass kicked.

I did download TEE, but I don't think I ever got around to playing. I loved BG and BGII, so maybe I'll give it a try.

I can't think of the one's I've downloaded. I'll take a look and PM you with my favs.

Sorry, got to go back to the Pistons thread!!!

4. My girlfriend played it until she broke up
with her ex-boyfriend, who had it on his computer.

Apparently she really liked it.
