What's the best technical reality show

I'm a huge fan of Overhaulin'. The work they do on that show just amazes me.

1. Mythbusters!!!

Who else gets to blow things up in or near San Francisco?

I particularly enjoyed the Tree Trunk Cannon they deliberately overshot on the tarmac at Alameda.

This after they could not get a sparking cell phone to ignite gas fumes.

3. American Chopper

I'm not a big motorcycle person, but I LOVE Paul Sr. He's just the most insane bastard I've ever seen, and every time I see him I burst into laughter. His son does ALL THE WORK, ALL OF IT! He NEVER lifts a finger but to point and SCREAM HIS HEAD OFF AT HIS SON! He does NO work, the son does EVERYTHING and just gets yelled at. I love it.

10. Mikey is a crack up.

Every time Senior just LOOKS at him he breaks up. That is some seriously good natural defense mechanism for the kid.

8. Not saying he isn't crazy sometimes,

But I can understand his point of view. Paulie just designs and builds the bikes. Paul Sr. is the one who gets to explain to clients why their bikes aren't ready on time. He does get around to apreciate the effort Paulie puts in, but it drives the old man crazy that Paulie isn't as "obsessed" as he is about the business.

5. American Hotrod had the most annoying people I'd ever seen

Especially the guy's ex-wife "HELLFIRE" she'd be yelling over a simple accounting snafu.

7. That whole place is set up

just miss deadlines, or miss them entirely. The owners & his ex-wife are very anoying. The new manager on American Chopper is giving everyone a run for their money in the "worst boss on Earth" contest though.

12. Yep, Paul Sr. & Paulie

are busy now doing talk shows and stuff, so he had to hire a manager. The guy he hired is a total jerk. Last show, he made Mikey go home for being 10 minutes late!

All the reality, none of the pomp, and they blow stuff up! Mythbusters is what you get when you give a film crew and a budget to an artist and an engineer, and ask them to make a TV show :)
