Movie popcorn antidote, anyone? |
|
Ugh. We saw Harry Potter III yesterday, and a good time was had by all, but I ate far too much popcorn (yes, with the "better living through butter-flavored chemistry" topping). I was feeling quite queasy last night.
Today, the queasiness is a bit better, but not entirely, and I still feel like I ate a salt brick. Yes, I'm drinking plenty of water, and I'm going out of my way to avoid salt today.
Is there anything else I can do, or is this just a wait-for-it-to-pass (um, no pun intended, ew, sorry) thing?

Drink it warm, drink it fairly fast, don't fight the urge to burp.

3. Its all about the Gatorade |

Or some other sports drink. No wait thats for a hangover. For doing something stupid like eating that "I can't believe its just yellow grease" shit, you deserve your fate.
Its like that Seinfeld episode when Elaine ate the 80 year old cake. Instead of being punished for stealing the royal wedding cake, Peterman said, "Elaine, do you have any idea what happens to a butter-based frosting after sitting 60 years in a poorly ventilated English basement? I have a feeling that what you are about to go through is punishment enough. Dismissed."
You are in for it today.

4. Chocolate cures everything! |

And to be safe, next time put chocolate syrup on the popcorn BEFORE you eat it.
