1. I'm not a theater person. I almost never go...
...but I'd like to see it. I'm pretty open. We might have to buy tickets in advance.

2. I'm interested...
We're seeing it Friday (on my bday) but would like to see it again on Saturday and drag some family members with me. Just keep us posted on when and where.

Afternoon is good for matinee pricing, but evening may be more convenient for folks. Either is fine with me.

Thanks for organizing this! Looking forward to it. Just hope I can stand watching the chimp for any length of time. Normally I avoid it at all cost. :P

3. Hey bearfan454 is a Friday evening showing out of the question?
I know Sundays are bad for you, and I could go Saturday, but the reason I bring up Friday is because the Mark Strama campaign is making it a fund raising opportunity. That means we will be a big Democratic group. I really want to help him out too.

NoPasaran can send you the details via private mail. Go check out this thread.

You don't have to make it $20 either, you have to pay for the ticket of course and pay any extra you can. The extra is the fundraiser part.

5. Well then no one says we can't see it twice
I'm in for both days. Just keep us posted on the details. I agree that a Saturday matinee is best and that we have to buy our tickets in advance, probably on-line.

9. Here's another possibility for Saturday night
If people want to to to a late showing and join the DriveDemocracy.org people here's the info. You pay a little more but it goes to fundraising. Here's the message:
---------------

Dear DriveDemocracy.org member,

DriveDemocracy.org is proud to present a special screening of Michael Moore's Fahrenheit 911. Our friends at the Texas Freedom Network sold out their opening night show so we thought we'd step in on Day 2 for those unable to attend Friday night.

Fahrenheit 911
Saturday June 26 7:45pm
Tinseltown South
South I-35 at Stassney, 5501 S. I-H 35 512.326.3800

To purchase tickets, click here:
http://www.drivedemocracy.org/far911/

Tickets are $12 each.
PLEASE BE SURE TO ENTER THE CORRECT AMOUNT IN THE CONTRIBUTIONS FIELD.
1 Ticket = $12.00
2 Tickets = $24.00
3 Tickets = $36.00
4 Tickets = $48.00
Etc.

Underpayments will not receive tickets. We will only be able to deliver tickets for which we have received a full $12.

$4 of the ticket price is a contribution to DriveDemocracy.org. Money raised by DriveDemocracy will be spent on our current campaign to encourage Congress to fully investigate the ethics complaint filed against U.S. House Majority Leader Tom Delay by U.S. Rep. Chris Bell.

We'd like to thank the Texas Freedom Network for joining us in spreading the word about this important film.

To learn more about the TFN please visit their site:

hope you can join us on Saturday,
Glenn Smith, DriveDemocracy.org
