My cat Abbott has a favorite color: Purple

I just bought new sheets and duvet for my comforter. I use to have white or cream color sheets because I loved the purity of a bed with those colors (stop rolling your eyes and laughing, damnit).

But Saturday I went shopping for a new Duvet cover and ended up not only getting a new cover in Deep purple, but I even got 310 Thread Count Egyptian Cotton sheets in a lighter shade of purple.

Normally, Abbott would sleep on the window sill behind my bed, but since I've put on the new sheets Abbott wants to sleep on those sheets with me. When I went to sleep last night he was sleep at the foot of my bed and this morning he was sleeping with his head rested on one of my pillows next to me.

It seems Abbott is fascinated with the color purple. Evita, on the other hand, still sleeps on the chair in the dining room (which I recently put a cat bed on it so she'd be comfy).

but after Abbie Hoffman. I'm just use to call him Abbott when he's bad and Abbie when he's my lil cuddly kittykat. But he seems to be more bad than cuddly
