Poll question: Will F911 be playing in your city? |
|
Edited on Mon Jun-21-04 03:30 PM by Cousinit13
on edit: I used the word city as a generic term for area around your home, wether it be a city, township, etc... http://www.f911tix.com/index.html

2. That list isn't accurate, really |
|
Call your local theatres and ask. If nothing else, it will indicate to them that the consumers want it!! Oh, and thank 'em if they are!!

3. My metro area, yes. My actual city, maybe. |
|
But within a quick drive, yes, regardless.

6. about an hour away... but that's usually how far I drive |
|
to see a movie, anyway. Local theaters are disgustingly dirty and have tiny screens and bad sound.

8. You need to ellaborate on the question. Most people don't live in "a city" |
|
in all likelihood. So I can't vote until you specify what you mean. Do you mean, is it playing in your city or town or township? Or do you mean, is it playing the same metropolitan area of a city as you?

9. Yes, but I'll wait for the DVD |
|
It's not as if Moore will change my mind; I already agree with him to begin with. I've got a huge problem with what movies and refreshments cost, which is why haven't gone to see a movie in years.

to see it but 60 miles we will go. We called our local theater. They said there were not enough copies to go around. Then they said they would maybe show it after everyone else got done with it. Then they said they would maybe show it if it was popular enough. This is the group that did not show "Shakespeare in Love" because they thought it was really Shakespeare and no one would go to see it. Only after it was nominated for an academy award did they show it here. No hope. If they do show it I will go a second time just to make a point.

16. I will drive 30 miles |
|
but that's O. K., because it will be a much better theater than the ones that are open in my town. Worth the drive!!!
BTW, this will be the first movie I will see in a theater since I had my daughter two years ago. The last movie I saw was the first "Lord of the Rings". I am making myself hire a babysitter and go for a good movie. Win-win for me!

18. My town doesn't have a theater |
|
The closest theaters haven't decided to carry yet. I'm putting pressure on the one in Oaks. The man that I talked to who works in that one completely agreed with me. He said like me, he's seeing it even if he has to travel. I'll call back to register a censorship complaint if they later decide not to show it.
The one closest to me is in Plymouth Meeting, which isn't too bad, but it's a bit of a hassle.

20. Yep, at both of the big 'plexes in town |
|
as well as Windward O'ahu and Maui; progressives on Kaua'i and the Big Island will apparently (and ironically) have to fly to see it.
