coming out soon, starring Kevin Klein as Cole Porter with performances by Natalie Cole, Alanis Morrissette, Elvis Costello, Diana Krall and others.
Should be great... I love musicals, and Cole Porter is a god of the genre. And Kevin Klein is one of my favorite actors.

but never liked Costello.
BUT....
when he substitute-hosted for Letterman, he was great. Funny, witty, insightful and entertaining. I'll probably never like his music, but if Diana Krall loves him, I'm willing to give him another look.

Not really one of my favorites, although it is good. More mellow, all ballads, mostly piano backed. Still is one of my favorite songs from the CD. His music can be a little hard to get into, some people just don't like his voice, to each his own.
I started listening to Diana Krall since they got together, I like her too, she's very good.

12. I've heard most his work |

I had a roommate for years who really loved him. I just never could get into him - and yeah, his voice is a large part of it.
Diana Krall, though, is awesome. I've seen her twice in concert and listen to her CD's regularly.

To each his own. At least we can say one or the other has good taste in music. :)

Is he egotistical?
A friend of mine worked for a theater company where he appeared, and liked him a lot. And she was really critical of actors.

I'd watch anything with Cary Grant, just 'cuz.
But you're right, it wasn't one of his better films.

Bringing Up Baby is one of my favorite movies.
He made a ton of great films. I love all his work with Hitchcock, and he practically invented the Romantic Comedy. He was everything a movie-star should be.
