It's like saying "I am a Christmas-ian". I only follow the teachings and rituals of Christmas.
Kabbalah is a sub-section of Judaism. It is the equivalent of New Age philosophies as they relate to Christianity. It is not meant to be studied separate from Judaism. It is not supposed to be studied by men under the age of 40. Women are allowed to study it at any time, but normally wait until 40 as well.
This picking the parts that you like and discarding the rest shit is just stupid. It is just as inane as the Christians that are all wrapped up in "End of Times" theology and forget about the rest of it.
You are either a Jew or you are not. It's that simple. If you cannot make the commitment to Judaism, then don't pretend that you are just because you like the very mystical parts.
For crying out loud. It's hard enough to be a Jew, these folks are making it harder.
