It's been so long and so very hot since it last rain. :bounce: I forgot what rain even looks like.

Plus it's fun. :) I usto love playing football in the snow, it's kind of like a person vs person vs nature kinda thing.

7. LOL my son did that while we were in Phoenix
Can you imagine a 13 yr old agreeing to a 5:40 am tee time? He would definitely have played in the rain, better than the 108 in the shade he played in one afternoon!!

Yeah the grass in my apartments is pretty much dead. If people decide to play football they will likely be tackled on dirt instead of grass.

10. Alas, the monsoons will not make it here (So. Nev.)
Just a few clouds. There's really not much better than a good, hard thunderstorm in the middle of the desert, with infinite, thick grey clouds and lightening over the distant mountains...sigh.

People around here complain incessantly about the rain. I say that they just don't know what they've got until it's gone.
