Gooooooooood Morning DU!!!!!

How is everyone this F-I-N-E, G-R-E-A-T, B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L morning?!? Well, I'm.... excited. Can ya tell? Would appreciate your good thoughts this morning as I'm flying by myself for the first time. The last time I flew was 5 years ago with my aunt, and needless to say, I'm a little nervous. Hope you all have an AWESOME day! :donut: So tell me, what's up??

I'm       because I won't see you for 4 days, plus if I decide to go I won't be able to see you for a month. :evilfrown:

but at the sametime

I am :D :D :D :D :D :D for you because you get to see your man.

Don't worry, planes are one of the safest means of transportation out there. It rained for the first time last night in two months! :bounce: How are you doing?

It's only 4 days. :) Besides, I'm sure you'll have other DUers to keep you busy. When will you decide if you're going to go to your dad's or not?? If you end up leaving before I get back, just drop me an e-mail.

And thanks. :) I'm glad I get to see him too. hehe. Man, you should be here then. That's all it's done for the past week. I can't stand anymore rain! Other than that, I'm PEACHY! How are you??

Edited on Thu Jun-24-04 05:48 AM by Champ
It's wierd, everything seems different, I seen her last night briefly when she drove by in her truck. That was the first time since the other day when she drove through my apartment complex like a crazy person to get to her friends house. She was all over the sidewalk and grass. It was a site to see, something you don't see everyday.

Good luck and what will you be doing this weekend? Gonna catch a movie? You know that one that has been generating alot of buzz? :)

9. That's interesting.
Was she drunk or something?? That's really weird. Hope things work out for you.

Not sure what we'll be doing. Probably hanging out most of the weekend. The guys in his barracks are really fun so we'll probably be partying with them and the rest of the time, taking it easy I suppose. And I think I'll stay away from that movie with him. I mean, he's a marine, he has to deal with being shipped out and more stuff than I can imagine. We don't talk about politics much. But I have plans to see it with my aunt on Monday or sometime.

She can be funny like that. She is really cool though and smart, I recently found out she signed up for courses at the same school. I was in the park and next thing I see is a big truck turning the corner and driving on the sidewalk towards her friends house. Me and 4 of my friends who were all standing around were like :wtf:

That sounds great, what did you do yesturday? Have any fun? :)

Um, laundry, went to the mall, packed, went to eat, that's pretty much it. It was a good time. What about you?

21. I haven't talked to her since Sunday
I seen her tear the apartments on Monday. Seen her last night when she drove by, she said hi, and I yelled hi back. Don't know if that considers as talking

Not much, I worked out went swimming. Stayed inside most of the day, when I heard the wind blowing I looked outside and it looked like it was about ready to rain. I decided to play basketball in the rain and did pretty good, scored 22 points. :D I seen my friend who I haven't seen since the other day, not for long though that was also when I seen her drive by. Sorry about the long post.

Not at all, I did play for a YMCA team. The only sport I played in high school was football and that was in 9th grade during that period of 6 months I spent in Flagstaff. (I did really good imo that year)It sucks how things went down and I had to move back down. Then when I was down here I practiced with my local high school, I practiced in a 110+ heat during the summer with padding on. I took as many water breaks as I could, plus the coaches were sucked everything out of what was fun in football. Plus the coaching style didn't showcase recievers very much, they run the ball 35+ times a game. Then after that semester I transfered to this high school in Tempe, I spoke with the athletic director and he told me I couldn't play for them the next season because I practiced with another high school team the previous year. So basically I would have to wait til I was a senior to be eligible but grades were slipping and dropped out before my junior year. Did you do any activities in high school? Again sorry for the long post.

32. That really sucks.
But you never know what can happen with college and stuff. Good luck with it though. I'm sure if you keep it up, you'll go far if it's something you really want to pursue.

I was the club kid in high school. Annual staff, BETA club, Science club, Outdoor club, Spanish club, Y-TEENS, etc. Many, many more. Not a sports person, but I definitely had my people skills lined up.

37. Thanks
It's something I want to pursue mostly because I don't want to regret not putting a last ditch effort later down in life. But I missed out on alot of valuable coaching and game experience.

That's great, I wish I could've been in some clubs. Which one was your favorite?

38. I totally understand.
I mean, we only get one chance to live and if you don't ever try something, how will you know whether or not you could've been great at that? lol. Hence why I want to try to play tennis and golf at least once (I know I'll suck, but it's the point of it all).

My favorite was probably Annual Staff. I take pictures ALL the damn time and that was a way for me to get to take more and make awesome pages with them.

41. Speaking of Tennis...
Edited on Thu Jun-24-04 06:44 AM by Champ
My mom from her youth up to when she was 18 played Tennis, she won lots of tournaments. She has a box with atleast 50 trophies. There were times where she got accepted to a men's tournament, and she won that. I believe she was even regional champ, she went to tournaments all over, Las Vegas, Cotton Bowl in Dallas, all over the Rocky Mountain region. She was actually friends with Andre Agassi's older sister, she remembers when she saw him as just a kid. I swear to god, my grandpa even saved newspaper clipings. She even had an article of her in 17 magazine. Thing is when she turned 18 and left the house she quit, because my grandpa worked her hard (hitting balls back and forth from dawn to dusk) ever since she was big enough to carry a racket. She tells me she never liked playing.

Taking pictures is fun, I actually did take a video camera class when I was 12. That was really fun! We were doing plays and stuff and it was fun acting in front of a camera.

she'd be offended if I went to bed.

I like to keep her company in the morning, make her some coffee, chat. I usually go to sleep sometime after she leaves for work...tee hee! Besides, she needs a good kick in the butt to get going...we have a little ritual where I look at the clock and say "Get movin'!" to remind her that she's gotta get dressed to leave...she loves it, apparently. :)

I'll be fun. You can do it, you're a big girl, now.

Only suggestion I can offer is: take some water with you.

Another quiet day in the office, business lunch later. Hopefully the rains will stay away for the rest of the week and weekend so I can practice soccer and watch the home game tomorrow.

50. HEY!
Glad you made it! I was worried I wouldn't get to say bye before I left! :(

Yep. All packed and ready. Have to leave work in an hour then I'm headed to get a light breakfast and then I'm off to the airport!

I have my big quart of Evian all ready to do! :D Hope that you have an awesome weekend, full of soccer and no rain!

52. Thanks!
:hi:

Had to see you off on your trip--couldn't miss it. I think I pulled a muscle in my mid-back, along the lower edge of my ribs. I shouldn't have done that extra set of tricep dips. (2 sets of 6 reps, in case you're wondering) If the muscle doesn't feel better by the time I return home, it's gonna be a light training day. Maybe card tricks, after taichi. :D

54. Awww! I'm sorry!
 When I get back, if it's still sore, your massage will be my first priority! :( Hope you feel better soon though.

Give yourself a break! DAMN! You work so hard you make me tired THINKING about it!

67. 'Sokay
You've got a short plane trip and a Marine looking forward to seeing you and a fun weekend planned. Hopefully spent with modern conveniences and good weather. Go forth and party!

I'll be fine. I need to work on my card tricks and do housework anyway. Thanks for thinking about this old man. ;-)

57. Gotcha!
I decided to leave my copy of "Dude, Where's My County?" at home, thinking that they'd probably suspect me as a terrorist so I opted for "The Vagina Monologues" instead. :D And good to see ya this morning!

The Vagina Monologues.....good idea.

Try to get a male at security. He'll avert his eyes blush and not want to look through your stuff.

The only reason my threads are what they are is because I have amazing people like you commenting on them. I don't do anything, you all are the ones that make my mornings great!   (But the compliments are VERY much appreciated. Don't get them too often).
