Proximity shock collars for cats?
Has anybody ever heard of shock collars that are activated by proximity to another shock collar, or to a small transmitter?

I would like to find a way to keep my two cats separated, without having to keep one outdoors all the time, or keeping one in the bedroom, and the other in the rest of the house.

1. never heard of that, but have heard of
Scat Mats & Scat Strips

FWIW I myself wouldn't put such a device on a cat. They are nervous enough as it is, and it seems cruel to me. JMO.

Good luck keeping them separated. I wish I had some good advice.

2. Cats have too much attitude. They'll ignore the shocks just to spite you.

3. Maybe I should opt for the shotgun-in-the-backyard approach
Fuckers can't ignore buckshot, can they?
