an old friend is hospitalized. He needs someone to care for his two cats for a few weeks.

I'm off to San Francisco to collect them and bring them home. There will be much excitement here while my cats learn to adapt.

well, Macy and Gidget are here. They've been here for 6 hours. Under the bed. I guess they'll need to eat or poop at some point...

Poor lil kitties, they're all scared. It must be very frightening for them to be cat-napped by a stranger, taken on a 2 hour car ride and thrust into a strange home.

2. Time for some catnip

to break the ice- or maybe some of that tasty milk laced with percholate. Seriously, yeah they are probably freaked and don't get what's happening. Might take awhile for them to reelax a bit.

I just took a catnip-filled toy into them.
