Is there a way to "save" a show from C-span on PC? |
|
I just got a new PC with a CD/DVD writer. I would like to be able to save some things available online to CD/DVD to be able to share with my friends who don't have computers.
I'm not sure if I am doing something wrong. I have tried saving clips from the 9/11 Commission hearings, an ad from the Bush/Cheney website and an ad from MoveOn.org. Are those kind of things protected in some way or should I be able to save them to CD/DVD?

2. If you really want to do it an easy way ... |

I would suggest getting a TV card (they're anywhere from 35 to 85 bucks).
You're able to save any program you want to disk and can edit out fluff, commercials and whatever.
I use mine to even record movies.
