ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. -- Investigators say a man died after he attempted to burglarize a veterinary hospital. The break-in happened around one o'clock Friday morning, on University Boulevard in Orange County.
The robbery suspect clearly had an elaborate plan on how to get inside the animal hospital. But he didn't plan on how he would get out and it cost him his life.
Orange County detectives responded early Friday morning to a burglary call at the University Animal Hospital. When they got there, the suspect tried to get away by busting a hole through a plate-glass window and trying to escape.
The suspect didn't get far. His cuts from the window caused him to bleed to death only feet from his getaway car.
