P.G. Wodehouse fans--have you ever seen the Wodehouse Playhouse? |
|
It's an old BBC series--1975. I just took the dvd's out of the library and have started watching them.
They're not great--pretty funny at times, but not as well done as the Jeeves and Wooster series of the early 1990's. The interesting patr is that PG himself introduces the shows. He's in a little insert talking for about 30 seconds. He was pretty old then--quite frail, but it's interesting to see the guy--I never had before.

...like I said, just to see old PG himself in the flesh is worth a viewing.

They were mostly Mulliner stories, weren't they?

3. I've just started them.... |
|
....from the titles some of them are Mulliner stories--but they jump around quite a bit, with the same actors playing different characters in each episode.
