I know you can do that with an avocado, how about a peach?

1. You can
But the chances of it having good peaches is slim.

7. Good question, and I was wrong
I messed up a bit. You can grow the peaches from a pit, but the fruit will not be the same as the original peach. Has to do with genetics, root stocks, and all that.

2. I think you can.
It worked for me, anyway. I planted one in the yard and it grew into a tree.

5. I'm sure it was just a coincidence.
That tree would have grown even if you hadn't planted that peach pit.

:)

6. My dad did that when I was little
The tree produced nasty little peaches, but the blossoms were beautiful!

8. My sister planted a peach pit in our garden when she was quite little
it grew into a tree that produced fantastic looking peaches. However, it was a really unhealthy, dirty tree and developed a bad split in the trunk so it got prematurely offed.
