ET has confirmed through her reps that BRITNEY SPEARS is engaged to backup dancer KEVIN FEDERLINE. Yes, the 22-year-old is ready to walk down the aisle again, but this time she's apparently going to take a more traditional route. Her 55-hour Las Vegas marriage to childhood friend JASON ALEXANDER ended in an annulment.

Marrying Federline will also make Britney a step-mom -- he has a 2-year-old with actress SHAR JACKSON, who's also currently pregnant with his second child.

the Republican party needs a major distraction issue to get fundamentalist, working, and poor class Christians across the country to support the Republican party whose economic agenda works entirely against these people's economic self-interest. Stopping Gays from getting married gives them that issue. In fact, they'll probably win entire counties based on stopping Gays from getting married, while outsourcing of jobs in these same counties will leave them without an economic base.

The Cultural War is nothing more than a mask for the class warfare that the upper class is waging against the lower classes.
