Forbes list of best..and worst..citys for singles is out!
These are the top 40 metro areas in population, so not every city is on the list.

Yet, still alot of fun.

The worst was Pittsburgh (which really isn't that bad), but the second worst was Cincinnati

Forbes does a pretty good demolition job on the Queen City in this article:

http://www.forbes.com/singles/2004/06/23/cx_dl_0624cincy_04single.html

"There are major problems in Cincy that may have caused the decline. Violent crime soared following race riots in 2001, and the area is now one of the most racially charged locations in the United States. An organization called Cincinnati Progressive Action continues a boycott of the city's businesses, in protest of what it calls "economic apartheid."

The locals with whom I had spoken were not optimistic about my prospects. After finishing a tour of Toyota Motor's (nyse: TMC - news - people ) factory in Georgetown, Ky., about an hour south of the city, the two public relations people with whom I had spent the morning (both of whom were from Cincy) asked what I would be up to for the rest of the day.

"I'm here to see if it's possible for a young, single person to have fun in Cincinnati on a Friday," I told them.

"Good luck," said one of them. The other one said to his colleague, "Boy, that would be a tough assignment, wouldn't it?"

Come on. How bad could the place be?"

Pretty bad, i guess...but really not as bad as nearby Dayton.
