Sleepytime Gorilla Museum
Edited on Fri Jun-25-04 04:46 PM by hiphopnation23
Is anyone familiar with this Oakland, CA based band? A friend of mine is doing work on thier new album. WOW WOW WOW :wow:

This is very heavy, sometimes disturbing, bizarre art-rock. My friend refers to it as "art-core". It's along the lines of Mr. Bungle and The Ruins. Very bizarre but very orchestrated and intense, too.

Check it out!!

If they bothered to update their website. The most current info is from March.

on edit: I see one of their members is in Charming Hostess. I've actually seen that band, though it was a long time ago. I enjoyed them quite a bit.

they're hard at work on a second album, been around the country on a tour, played shows consistently in the bay area, all work day jobs....

cut 'em some slack and judge them by their music and not how often they update some piddly ones and zeros??
