As for the war against Al Qaeda, I would think Saudi Arabia would be an obvious continuation. But I found out just today (from Michael Moore) that Saudi Arabia controls 7% of the US economy and a pullout will cause it to tank big time. (and yes, they own our fucking president too) So we have to keep that in mind when dealing with the Saudis.

I bet they won't be too happy when we have a new source of oil that we don't have to worry about giving money to terrorism because we own the people who own the oil.

their moneymaker. The retaliation from the US would be swift and strong.
It's fun to think that Super America, oops, Saudi Arabia might pull out their trillion dollars' worth of investments, but methinks they won't. Not their current administration anyway... the next one may not be so US-friendly though, who knows?

Direct ties to 9/11, direct ties to al qaeda, direct ties to every major terrorist group in the middle east, extremely repressive rulers, no religious freedom, etc.
They have a get out of jail free card in the White house though.
