Boudreaux intoned knowingly, "Well, I knowed de Cajuns was involved when summbody bet on de duck."

"Ah," sighed the sergeant, "And how did you deduce the Mafia was involved?"

"De duck won."

I'm a Yankee and except for the mafia part, the joke doesn't make any sense. First, what's an Aggie? Second why would a Cajun bet on the duck? I thought they were all chefs.
