So how was everyone's Gay Pride Sunday?
I met with some friends away from the Pride March/Pridefest madness. Then went down to the Village to meet some other friends. Overall it was a good time. And you?

1. I checked out a girl's butt

Without shame. :D That is all. No fun for me. I had to take care of this house full of animals today and for the next week.

3. Checking out a girl's butt is a good start
I witnessed some drunken lesbians (assumption on my part) flash a bar full of gay men.

2. Went yesterday
to the booths set up in SF's Civic Center. And lucky we did, because the baby came down with a fever today and so we scrapped the parade-watching plans. The little one mostly slept yesterday, and I was thrilled and amused to see the tourists (I wanted to go up to this one tourist and tell her, "Dearie, when you go to Pride, it's a good idea to not wear dresses that require pantyhose.") wandering and gawking. For what little time we were there, we had fun :-)

5. Cool. Me? I don't do the festivals or parades anymore.
They're great celebrations, but I just don't like them anymore. But I"m glad you & others had a great time.

8. I didn't know it was pride sunday, but I had a nice chat about gays
... with my conservative mother in law. Recently she's made some lesbian friends (no, not THAT kind of lesbian friends) at work, and she seems totally turned around. Dadinlaw still acts like there's something wrong with gay people, but he doesn't seem to hold it against them

11. Excellent!
Real change doesn't begin with marches or legislation--it all starts by getting to know people who are G/L/B/T and realizing you have more in common with us than you might have thought. It's great your mother in law has found that out!
